Happy Horror-Days!
Wishing you all a great celebration this week. Me, I think I'll re-read and re-watch some old holiday favorites, like "Arsenic and Old Lace", A Christmas Carol, and "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?".
What? I never said I was traditional...
Have a very happy whatever and a may all your horrors in 2009 be on the page or screen, only.
Watching to see if you've been naughty or nice (oh, my, YOU there...come here, you naughty thing you...) --

During the special Upward Bound Program, I actually required students READ A CHRISTMAS CAROL instead of watch it on television. Imagine that? Hoping I'm not on your naughty list.
No, no, no! That puts you onto my GOOD list! We won't say what those on the Good list get, mind you, but it's good. To me, anyway.
You sound like a wonderful teacher. Do you toss in contemporary horror, too, or just stick with the classics? (Yes, I do consider 'A Christmas Carol' to be horror.)

I'm thinking of having them read CUJO. It's always good to give fourteen-year-olds PAWS for thought.
ROFL! I love how you think! Do it, and then please report back on their reactions!
